1. what testpact is

testpact is a mobile-first marketplace and accountability platform designed for android developers and testers. we facilitate "pacts" where testers commit to testing an app to help developers meet closed testing requirements.

2. no google affiliation / no approval guarantee

testpact helps you organize testers, but we do not guarantee google play production approval.google independently reviews all apps and makes the final decision. following through on a testpact does not bypass google's quality, policy, or safety standards.

3. user responsibilities

by using testpact, you agree to:

• provide accurate account and app information.
• follow all google play policies and applicable laws.
• use physical, real devices and real accounts for testing where required.
• perform genuine testing during your sessions.
• never misrepresent your activity, engagement, or identity.

4. prohibited behavior

to maintain a high-trust economy, the following are strictly prohibited:

• using bots, scripts, or automated testing tools.
• using emulators or device farms where prohibited.
• creating fake accounts or engaging in fake/farmed engagement.
• manipulating screenshots or screen-frame proofs.
• harassing or threatening other users.
• spamming pacts or the platform.
• attempting to bypass security, rate limits, or anti-fraud measures.
• selling testpact accounts or credits outside of the platform.
• abusing the reporting, review, or appeal systems.

5. pacts and testing obligations

pacts are commitments between developers and testers. testers are expected to complete their daily sessions honestly and on time. missing sessions can negatively affect your trust rating, credit settlement, and pact status. testpact reserves the right to review, reject, retry, or allow appeals regarding session validity at our sole discretion.

6. screen-frame proof consent

by voluntarily starting an active testing session on testpact, you agree that your screen frames may be captured during that specific session to serve as proof-of-engagement.

testpact does not perform background surveillance. we strongly advise users to avoid exposing unnecessary sensitive information on their screens while an active session is recording.

7. credits and subscriptions

"credits" are in-app virtual units used to facilitate pacts. during phase 1, earned credits are strictly non-withdrawable and can only be reinvested inside the testpact platform (e.g., to run your own pacts).

purchasing credits or subscriptions is handled through applicable app stores (like google play or the apple app store) via revenuecat. prices may vary by region. all sales are final, and refunds are subject to the applicable app store's policies unless otherwise stated by law.

8. account suspension and termination

we want to keep testpact safe and reliable. we reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, compromise safety, or abuse the platform.

9. disclaimers

the testpact service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. we make no guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific outcomes (including google play approval).

10. limitation of liability

to the fullest extent allowed by law, testpact (and its founders/team) won't be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. if you rely on testpact, you do so at your own risk.

11. changes to these terms

we may update these terms of service over time. we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes, but your continued use of testpact implies your acceptance of the latest version.
